Excursions

Two excursions will be especially organised for the participants of the Samos 2013 Summit at a competitive extra cost. If you are interested, you can declare your interest upon registration.

The first excursion will take place on Thursday, 4 July 2013 and includes a complete tour of the island of Samos, as well as a traditional Greek meal in the middle of the day. Bus shuttles will be available for the transportation of the participants from their hotels to the various sights of Samos, to the lucnch venue and back to the hotels. The whole cost of the excursion, including lunch cost, any sightseeing tickets and transportation fees, is 50 euros per person.

The second excursion will take place on Friday, 5 July 2013 and includes a visit to Ephessus, which was an Ancient Greek city, located on the west coast of Asia Minor. Participants will also have the unique opportunity to visit the famous Library of Celsus, an ancient building that constitutes one of the few remaining examples of an ancient Roman-influenced library. The cost for this visit is 80 euros per personincludes bus shuttle from the hotel to Kousantassi, boat and english guide fees, Ephessus Archaelogocial Sight tickets, lunch and bus shuttle back to Samos.
